    Mercedes Benz has launched a new mobile app that will let you control your shiny new Mercedes with your iPhone or BlackBerry, called mbrace.

    The application will let you lock or unlock your car from a distance, as well as find its location on a map on your phone just in case your forget where you have parked it.

    The application will also have a safety feature built in, that should you crash you car and the air bags are deployed, it will automatically call an mbrace customer specialist who will be able to help you, and if you don’t respond to the call, they will alert the authorities and send help your way, other features include a stolen vehicle location assistance and roadside assistance connection.

    The mbrace system will be rolled out on all new Mercedes in 2010, and it is expected to be fully up and running by November 2010, it will also be able to be retro fitted to existing models.
