Garmin and TomTom may beware. Now it will be free to use the navigation tool Ovi Maps with Nokia smartphones.
Nokia is now for Google and make its navigation service free. Nokia’s Ovi Maps has working maps for 74 countries and is available in 46 different languages. For those of you who are located abroad and are concerned about high data costs from local operators in connection with that you use the program, it is possible to pre-fill homes maps and to thus use the program without being connected.
Right now the program is available for a 10-number of Nokia models including Nokia N97mini, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia E72, and more. Within the next few weeks, the program will be available for more models, according to Nokia.
